Are you part of the 32% of Americans earning less than $15/hour? Or maybe you earn a decent salary but want more?
If you answered “yes,” or are simply interested in taking on a new side hustle, check out iPoll.
This online survey platform helps people earn up to $20 per activity and doesn’t limit the number of surveys you can take.
Want to know more?
Below, I’ll share my full iPoll review covering what it is, how it works, and give you the perspective you need to decide if iPoll is right for you.
What is iPoll?
Previously known as Survey Head, iPoll is an online survey platform that has been in business since 2008.
iPoll allows you to earn cash when you answer questions about products and services you use on a daily basis.
iPoll states that activities normally payout between $7 and $20.
So is iPoll worth it?
Yes!
Even though it won’t replace your monthly income, you can use the extra cash to treat yourself to a nice dinner or help make a dent in your student loan payments.
iPoll has surveys in various categories, such as:
- Food
- Electronics
- Travel
- Health and wellness
- Entertainment
But what separates iPoll from other survey apps is that they don’t just offer surveys. They allow you to test prototype products, explore your local area, and share honest feedback. These tasks can earn you up to $50 each.
I like to think of it as a real-life video game. You can earn money in exchange for completing small missions. The more missions you complete, the more cash you earn.
How Does iPoll Work?
iPoll partners with companies to help them conduct market research.
The way it works is simple:
Let’s say a company wants to understand its audience better, but they don’t have the time or resources to send thousands of surveys to consumers.
So they pay a small fee to iPoll, who does this for them.
iPoll hosts these companies’ surveys on their website. When you complete a survey, you get a small percentage of this fee.
Once you earn enough credits, you can redeem the money for gift cards from places such as Apple and Amazon or cash out via PayPal.

iPoll Reviews
When I was doing research for this iPoll review, I scoured the web, reading almost every customer review I could find.
Even though there wasn’t a shortage of iPoll reviews complaining about the long payout process, most of the comments were positive.
For example, this iPoll review by member Blake Harris loved the overall customer experience and easy-to-understand questions.
Another iPoll review from a user, Erin Weinmeister, mentioned how easy it was to qualify for surveys. If she didn’t qualify, iPoll would tell her in the beginning, so she doesn’t waste much of her time.
According to her experience, you can earn around $25 every two days.
An iPoll review from a member, Mary Carmack, liked how iPoll pays you out in dollars and not points. This is good news if you don’t want to deal with gift cards and vouchers.
However, I found plenty of negative reviews too.
For instance, iPoll user, Richard Eisenhard, said that the cashout limit is quite high. Also, when he reached the limit, he had trouble redeeming his money.
Another negative iPoll review from a member, Stephanie Murphy, talked about how she also struggled to cash out and had to contact the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
